carrying off four more awards in 2011.<br />

Pizza Hut Hong Kong won<br />

the Restaurant Category in<br />

the ‘Yahoo! Emotive <strong>Brand</strong><br />

Awards’, which aim to recognize<br />

companies with good brand<br />

value and a strong emotional<br />

bond with their customers.<br />

Some 2.5 million votes were<br />

received in the competition and<br />

according to Yahoo! Hong Kong,<br />

Pizza Hut’s success proves the<br />

brand’s popularity with Hong<br />

Kong people.<br />

Following the launch of its<br />

highly successful iPhone<br />

App in 2010, Pizza Hut Hong<br />

Kong scored another hit with<br />

Meanwhile, the company’s ‘Cheesy 6’<br />

advertising campaign, which was<br />

launched in February 2011, has made<br />

an impressive impact as reflected<br />

in its accolade of an ‘EFFIE Awards’<br />

Merit Certificate. Regarded as<br />

advertising/marketing industry,<br />

the Effie award is testament to the<br />

campaign’s marketing effectiveness<br />

Finally, Pizza Hut Hong Kong<br />

Marketing Director Richard Leong<br />

has also been recognized by Yum!<br />

with the ‘Pizza Hut <strong>Brand</strong> Builder<br />

Award’. He was one of only two<br />

recipients this year and received the<br />

award for his efforts in invigorating<br />

the Pizza Hut brand and generating<br />

new business growth ideas.<br />

Employment Opportunities Accolade for Pizza Hut and KFC in Taiwan<br />

Pizza Hut and KFC in Taiwan have<br />

been recognized for their efforts in<br />

creating employment opportunities<br />

with awards from the Ministry of<br />

Economic Affairs and Council of<br />

Labor Affairs of the Executive Branch<br />

of the Government of the Republic<br />

of China.<br />

Pizza Hut and KFC Taiwan were<br />

among only 26 enterprises<br />

nominated for the ‘Contribution<br />

Award of Creating Employment<br />

Opportunities’.<br />

“It is a great honour to receive this<br />

award, which provides Pizza Hut<br />

Taiwan with a great opportunity to<br />

promote its image as an excellent<br />

employer,” said Pizza Hut Taiwan<br />

Chief Executive Officer Linda Hsu.<br />

offerings and customer service<br />

while extending its community<br />

responsibilities.<br />
