General considerations:
• Thoroughly cover all areas not receiving treatment.
• Use long, rhythmic, gentle and slow massage strokes; if this is difficult for you, adapt
your strokes to the calm, relaxed rhythm of the music.
• When massaging large areas of the body, you may find it helpful to use your forearms
in addition to your hands.
• Distribute generous amounts of prewarmed oil on your hands and forearms before
massaging each part of the body.
• Repeat each massage stroke 3-5 times.
Place one prewarmed, medium-sized hot stone in the client’s right hand and one in the left;
have the client position her hands with the palms open and facing upwards. Place the large
hot stone on her abdomen below the navel. If the stone is too hot (as determined by the
client), place the stone on the blanket.
Stand to the right of your client. Place your
left hand on her forehead and your right
hand below the navel. Notice your client’s
breathing and become one with it.
Begin your massage stroke in the center of the cleavage area, moving outward toward the
shoulders with both hands.
