Plastrac Inc. manufactures Disc-based Blending
and Dosing equipment and hopper loaders for
all plastics processing. Blending and Dosing units
include gravimetric self-calibrating Dosing units,
multi-ingredient blenders and volumetric color
proportioning equipment. A modular design concept
makes Auto-Disc units capable of fast material
changes. Loaders include both individual units
and mini-central conveying systems. Models are
available as machine-mounted or floor-mounted
equipment. Micro-feeding units provide inherently
consistent feeding characteristics and are being
used in production to add less than 0.02% color
per shot with micro-pellets and micro-beads.
