DRUMHELLER ELKS LODGE NO. 54
Manley Thomson (left), Exalted Ruler of Drumheller Elks Lodge was
presented with a cap and pin award as part of the AIM program that
recognizes members for bringing in new members. Presenting the award
was the newest member of the Lodge, Dylan Kikoak.
Past Exalted Ruler Glen Hardy is
presenting Gordon Akin with his 50
year pin.
EDMONTON ELKS LODGE NO. 11
The Edmonton Elks have been keeping busy raising money through hall rentals, bar sales,
bingos and casinos to be able to give to our favourite charities.
Exalted Ruler David Schindel is presenting 89 year
old Cyril Ash his 50 years of service pin.
A donation to the Tevie Miller Heritage School was
made. They specialize in teaching children with
speech and/or language disabilities or disorders.
Exalted Ruler David Schindel is donating a cheque for
$9,000.00 to Angela Schneider (Office Administrator)
and her daughter Karin. The Elks matched a similar
amount donated by our Ladies of the
Royal Purple.

Grand Exalted Ruler Robert Larsen is presenting a cheque for $5,000.00 on
behalf of the Edmonton Elks to Joan Nielsen, Director of Camp He Ho Ha
(Health, Hope & Happiness) along with Exalted Ruler David Schindel and
Past Exalted Ruler Vic Schmidt. The camp provides summer and winter
recreational programs to children and adults with physical and/or mental
disabilities for all of Alberta.
Grand Exalted Ruler Robert Larsen is addressing
the Edmonton Lodge at the special meeting on
November 6, 2012. Edmonton also gave the Grand
Exalted Ruler a cheque for $315.00 from the pennies
collected for the Fund for Children.
Secretary Lyle Ozouf is presenting a cheque for
$5,000.00 to Roxy Kienzle, Opportunities Ambassador
for Youth Emergency Shelter. Edmonton Elks also
donated a total of $5,000.00 to various Christmas
charities in their area.
