to support our National Charity!
The penny will be removed from circulation as of February
4, 2013. After that time, cash transactions will be rounded up or
down to the nearest five-cent increment.
All Lodge members (and their communities) are encouraged to give up
their pennies to support our national charity.
Of course, your Lodge's collection of coins can continue into the future!
Now that you have collection boxes placed around your Lodge and community, just keep emptying
them and sending your cheques to the Elks & Royal Purple Fund for Children. Need more
collection boxes, other supplies or ideas? See contact information below.
The collection boxes will always be a good way for your Lodge to
continue "Making Dollars out of Cents" for your national charity.

Following the resounding success of the Past Grand Exalted Rulers'
Association project last year (collecting Canadian Tire Money and using it
to purchase items for the Silent Auction at the national convention - with
proceeds going to the national charity), you are invited to please continue
to participate in this easy way to support the national charity. Clean out
those drawers, glove compartments (or wherever you stuffed your Canadian
Tire money) and get it in to us. You can give it to Robert Larsen, our Grand
Exalted Ruler when he visits your Lodge, send it to Agnes at the Grand Lodge
Office, or send it directly to Al (Scotty) Edwards, 112 - 8777 Hudson St.,
