10.6 Backrest angle<br />
The backrest can be angled by loosening the<br />
bolt (A). Select the position you require then<br />
retighten the bolt securely. Always ensure the<br />
back angle is secure to maintain the desired<br />
posture for the child.<br />
The backrest angle can be adjusted with<br />
the child in the seat, but always support the<br />
backrest with one hand.<br />
Always make sure the bolt is secure<br />
as this could cause injury to the child<br />
or carer.<br />

There are two angle indicator strips on either<br />
side of the back adjuster. We have supplied<br />
angle location markers (shown below) on a<br />
card. These can be applied to the clear strip<br />
on the adjuster tube to indicate the desired<br />
positions for various activities such as rest,<br />
feeding, play.<br />
The angle indicator strip indicates the angle<br />
from the seat cushion to the backrest.<br />
The black and yellow hazard strip on<br />
the inner tube indicates the maximum<br />
forward or prone position the backrest<br />
can be adjusted to.
