Mangan Tours are delighted to be offering a tour to Belgium F1 in 2013. Spa- Francorchamps
is renowned as a fast and challenging circuit, always a big favourite with drivers and
spectators alike, and certain to be one of our quickest sellers in 2013. With a direct flight
from Dublin, and a marvellous centrally located hotel - we have the perfect mix for a fantastic
weekend!
Fri 23rd: Letterkenny – Dublin – Brussels
We travel to Dublin to board the early morning flight to Brussels. On arrival our coach
transfers us to our city centre hotel.
Sat & Sun: Two Days at the Belgian F1 Grand Prix
On these days we will be transferred to Spa-Francorchamps, for an exciting two days at the
Belgian F1 Grand Prix. The screech of the brakes and the roar of the mighty F1 engine ~ all
elements that make this a top sporting occasion for thousands of spectators.
Mon 26th: Brussels - Dublin - Letterkenny
We enjoy the morning at leisure in Brussels before transferring to the airport for our
afternoon flight back to Dublin. From Dublin we make our way back to Letterkenny after a
fast and furious weekend of racing.

5th - 11th September 7 Day Tour
They say that “Good things come in small packages” and this has never been more true that
on this tour to Luxembourg, one of the smallest countries in Europe but one with so much
to offer. Another great advantage to this tour is it’s close proximity to Rotterdam, meaning
short journeys on the continent. We are based in the picturesque town of Vianden, popular
for it’s fairytale atmosphere, old-style charm, and various local attractions.
Thur 5th: Letterkenny – Larne – Cairnryan – Hull
From Cairnryan we travel to Hull to board a luxury P&O Cruise Ferry for our overnight sailing
to Rotterdam.
Fri 6th: Rotterdam – Brussels - Vianden, Luxembourg
After breakfast we disembark the ferry in Europort Rotterdam, the world’s largest port
and travel through the flat lands of Holland before crossing into Belgium. We have some
free time in Brussels, the European Capital, before continuing on to our hotel in Vianden,
Luxembourg.
Sat 7th: Free Day in Vianden - Afternoon Tour of Vianden Castle
We enjoy a relaxing day in Vianden, a small, pretty, tourist town with a picturesque location
right on the banks of the River Our, home to pavement cafes, souvenir shops, historic
buildings, and chair lift. This afternoon we visit the beautifully restored Chateau de Vianden
situated overlooking the town, and voted one of the top tourist attractions in Luxembourg.
Sun 8th: Day Tour to Luxembourg City
Today we enjoy a full day in Luxembourg City. We are treated with a morning guided tour
of the city’s sights including Luxembourg Castle Ruins, the Grand Ducal Palace, and the
Cathedral of Notre Dame.
Mon 9th: Day Excursion to Trier, Germany
A trip to Trier, the oldest city in Germany. Trier, once the regional Roman capital, offers a
host of well preserved reminders of bygone days with it’s amphitheatre and thermal baths.
Tues 10th: Vianden - Afternoon in Valkenburg – Rotterdam
The pretty resort of Valkenburg, often referred to as ‘Little Switzerland’ for it’s rolling hills
and sloping forests, lies in an unusually hilly area of Holland. We experience the resort’s
unique character and continental atmosphere, with lively pavement cafes, and pretty flower
gardens. For the more adventurous perhaps enjoy a trip on the cable car or a visit to the
underground caves.
Wed 11th: Hull – Cairnryan – Larne - Letterkenny
After our overnight sailing we drive to Gretna, before boarding our ferry in Cairnryan. We
arrive back in Letterkenny at approx. 8:30pm after a spectacular week spent in the Grand
Duchy.

The Grand Hotel Vianden is a family run 3 star
hotel with a good location a few minutes walk
from the centre of the pretty, medieval town
of Vianden, set at the foot of the impressive
castle.
The hotel has 50 comfortable guest bedrooms
all with private facilities, television and alarm
clock.
The hotel has a cosy bar, restaurant, terrace,
sauna, whirlpool and solarium. The lift serves 3
of the hotel’s 4 floors.
