In 2013 this tour, back by popular demand, showcases the beauty of Kent, the Garden
of England. Our accessible location in Maidstone means we are only a short distance
from all the main tourist attractions, and even allows us the opportunity to hop across
to France! Our overnight stays in Coventry ensure we have comfortable journeys, with
ample time to visit Stratford-upon-Avon and Althorp en-route.
Sun 28th: Letterkenny - Dun Laoghaire - Holyhead - Coventry
From Holyhead we travel along the North Coast of Wales before travelling south to our
hotel our the outskirts of Coventry.
Mon 29th: Coventry – Stratford Upon Avon - Maidstone
This morning we make the short journey to Stratford Upon Avon, the hometown of
William Shakespeare. This afternoon we continue south, passing London to arrive in
Maidstone, Kent, our home for the next 4 nights.
Tues 30th: Day to Leeds Castle
Today we make the short journey to Leeds Castle, described by Lord Conway as “the
loveliest castle in the world”. The castle, set within 500 acres of beautiful parkland, is
built on two islands and is encircled majestically by a moat. Within the castle grounds
there is a secret grotto, a maze, a bird aviary, and a vineyard.
Wed 31st: Day Trip to Calais, France
Our close proximity to the English Channel makes a day trip to Calais an easy option.
We enjoy some time in this French seaside resort, and indulge in some French cuisine,
fitting in a chance for some shopping at one of the famous French hyper-markets.
Thurs 1st : Day to Canterbury
Canterbury, home of the ‘Canterbury Tales’, is a beautiful historic city overflowing
with olde-world style charm and character. It’s narrow cobbled streets are lined with
crooked buildings and quaint olde style shop fronts. The city’s cathedral is one of the
oldest Christian structures in England and is well worth a visit.
Fri 2nd : Maidstone – Althorp - Coventry
Today we visit the family home of the Spencer family and the final resting place of
Princess Diana - Althorp. Here we will have time to visit the house and the exhibition,
“Diana, A Celebration”, before we continue on to Coventry for our final night.
Sat 3rd: Coventry – Holyhead – Dun Laoghaire - Letterkenny
We make the journey to Holyhead to catch our ferry to Dublin and make our way back
to Letterkenny.

This ‘Funtastic’ Four Family Holiday is a hassle-free way to relax and enjoy your family
holiday. While we look after all the arrangements all you have to do is have fun
as we visit four of the UK’s most popular family attractions - ‘Westmidlands Safari
Park’, ‘Drayton Manor Theme Park & Thomas Land’, ‘Cadbury World’, and ‘Legoland
Discovery Centre’. The overnight ferry sailings are a handy option for families meaning
less time on the road for little ones, and our well-planned itinerary means we can pack
in as much fun as possible into the 3 days we are in the UK!
Sat 27th: Letterkeny - Belfast - Overnight Ferry to Liverpool
We have an evening departure from Letterkenny in order to catch the 10.30pm
overnight sailing from Belfast. After checking-in we can enjoy the facilities on-board
before settling down for a night’s sleep in the comfortable en-suite cabins.
Sun 28th: Liverpool - West Midlands Safari Park - Birmingham
We arrive in Liverpool at 6:30am. After disembarking the ferry we travel to West
Midland Safari Park, where we will come face to face with some of the fastest, tallest,
largest and cutest animals around! A 4-mile safari through 600 animals from around
40 different species! Afterwards we travel to our hotel in Birmingham, arriving early
evening.
Mon 29th: Full Day at Drayton Manor Theme Park & Thomas Land
This morning after breakfast, we will make the short journey to Drayton Manor, one of
the UK’s best theme parks, for a full day to enjoy all the rides and attractions including
some of the biggest, wettest, and scariest rides around. The little ones will be delighted
with Europe’s first ‘Thomas Land’ also based here.
Tues 30th: Cadbury World - Legoland Discovery Centre – Overnight Ferry
Today we depart our hotel and travel to Cadbury World to discover the world of
chocolate and how it is made. Afterwards we will travel to Manchester for a visit to the
LEGOLAND® Discovery Centre, the ultimate place for LEGO® fans – young and old!
Later in the day we travel to Liverpool, for our overnight ferry crossing to Belfast.
Wed 31st: Belfast - Letterkenny
This morning we disembark in Belfast at 6.30am before continuing our homeward
journey, arriving in Letterkenny at approximately 9.00am.
