MARzoning.shp, merge using the LTB_Zon field with the gepprocessing wizard, save as<br />
zon_merge.shp.<br />
b. Clip zone_merge.shp with the model_extent.shp using the geoprocessing wizard, save as<br />
zoning.shp.<br />
c. Add fields 'potential' and 'limit' to the attribute table <strong>of</strong> zoning.shp<br />
d. Select by attributes those <strong>LTBB</strong> zoning classifications fitting the ranking system<br />
e. With records selected, use the field calculator to populate the attribute table with appropriate<br />
rankings<br />

a. Download Emmet County roads framework version 4 from the State <strong>of</strong> Michigan CGI and<br />
extract to \\prime570\GIS_data\data\Shapefiles\Emmet\TIGER_95\<br />
b. Download Charlevoix County roads framework version 4 from the State <strong>of</strong> Michigan CGI<br />
and extract to \\prime570\GIS_data\data\Shapefiles\Charlevoix\TIGER_95\<br />
c. reproject Emmet and Charlevoix lakes and rivers to spnad83<br />
d. merge Emmet and Charlevoi rivers using the geoprocessing wizard<br />
e. merge Emmet and Charlevoix lake using the geoprocessing wizard<br />
f. merge rivers and lakes using the geopreocessing wizard<br />
g. buffer surfacewater.shp ¾ mile in 660' zones.<br />
h. clip resultant layer using the model_extent.shp<br />
i. save as surfacewater.shp in C:\\extents<br />
