2.6.2.11 ARTS_NAS Cancellation (RX)
The RX message cancels the stored flight plan data in the ARTCC computer but not in
the ARTS/PIDP computer. The message contains the message type designator and the
aircraft identification.
Example and format of the RX message.
Message: Remove RCH1423 from ARTCC computer
Fields: 01 02
Data: Message

2.6.2.12 Flight Plan Readout (FR)
The FR message is used to request a full route flight plan readout on a particular aircraft.
The message contains the message type designator and aircraft identification.
Example and format of FR message:
Message: Request flight plan readout for RCH1423
Fields: 01 02
Data: Message
Type ACID
Example: FR 720
NOTE: Use computer identification (CID) in field 02 whenever possible, as in this
example.
2.6.2.13 Altimeter Setting (AS)
The AS message is used to enter altimeter referenced data for selected, adapted reporting
stations. The AS message contains a message type designator and reporting time,
followed by one or more reporting stations and associated altimeter setting data. This
data is not available for printout at FDIO locations.

Message: Enter altimeter for DCA, ADW from Washington tower.
