Hatha Yoga<br />

Hatha yoga is a mindful practice, focused on<br />

alignment and form, breath awareness, and calming<br />

<strong>of</strong> the mind through relaxation and meditation while<br />

challenging the body’s endurance. Hatha yoga strives<br />

towards balance <strong>of</strong> mind and body through physical<br />

postures, or “asanas”, challenging your poise, balance<br />

and increasing your strength and flexibility, leaving<br />

you feeling relaxed, refreshed and renewed!<br />

Building on the fundamentals <strong>of</strong> Smart <strong>St</strong>art Yoga,<br />

this class will progress through the postures.<br />

Vinyasa Groove - Autumn<br />

Get your body grooving with a flowing series <strong>of</strong><br />

yoga postures linked together by breath designed<br />

to accompany upbeat tunes. Work up a sweat and<br />

a deep connection between the breath and body,<br />

flowing in and out <strong>of</strong> poses along with the music.<br />

Recharge with the warming movements from the nontraditional<br />

practices <strong>of</strong> ashtanga and hatha practices.<br />

Yin Yang Yoga<br />

Let your body move and groove, and then let it relax<br />

and release. Yin Yang Yoga is a balance between the<br />

yang (active, faster paced, strong and warming) and<br />

the yin (slow and sustained passive stretching) to<br />

allow a deeper practice to realize both energy and<br />

relaxation. Enjoy the build <strong>of</strong> heat, challenging the<br />

strength <strong>of</strong> the body during the active power flow<br />

and then the gentle cooling <strong>of</strong> the body, challenging<br />

the strength <strong>of</strong> the mind during the stillness <strong>of</strong> the yin<br />

release.<br />
