Development
The Recreation Services Community Development Team works in the area of Community Recreation and Leisure. Using a community
development approach the Community Recreation Coordinators work with community organizations, agencies, and service clubs in
the areas of organizational development and recreation program development. We work with groups either collaboratively, directly
or indirectly based on the organizations needs.
Target Audience
• Groups who access recreation and leisure services
provided by the City of St. Albert
• St. Albert based organizations
• New emerging St. Albert groups
• Types of groups:
◦ Recreation Groups
◦ Sport Groups
◦ Service Clubs
◦ Community Associations (club/league)
◦ Leisure Groups
◦ Formal and informal not for profit groups
