BEST PLACE TO PARTY WITH
THE GANG: Bed Supperclub
(located in Soi 11) is a fashionable
restaurant, club, gallery and live
entertainment venue. Set in an
all-white environment, this is a funky
place to people-watch and be seen.
INSIDER’S TIP: A trip to the
famous Wat Po temple, home
of the reclining Golden Buddha. A
great way to get there is to catch the
Sky Train to the river and jump onto
a ferry. A must-do at Wat Po is to get
a traditional Thai massage by one of
the many trained blind masseuses.
LOCAL DELICACY: A must-try
is the mango sticky rice
dessert. Delicious sweet mangoes
are available all year around; these
are served with some glutinous rice
and coconut milk.
MOST ROMANTIC SPOT:
Enjoy the sunset and drinks at
the Skybar located on the 63rd fl oor
of the Dome at Lebua State Tower
Building. The view of the city and the
Chao Phraya River is spectacular.
