bridge,” <strong>the</strong> left hand finger “taps behind <strong>the</strong> bridge,” and <strong>the</strong> middle finger of <strong>the</strong> right<br />

hand “taps behind <strong>the</strong> bridge.” 10<br />

The final example comes from A Sad Humoresque by Phyillis Tate. In this<br />

example <strong>the</strong> per<strong>for</strong>mer per<strong>for</strong>ms a tremolo on <strong>the</strong> wood of <strong>the</strong> guitar with <strong>the</strong> nails. The<br />

nails will give this a brighter sound.<br />
