5-Benzoyl-4-benzyl-1-prop-2-ynyl-2-(pyrrolidine-1-carbonyl)-3b,4,5,6,6a,7-hexahydro-1H-<br />

1,5-diazacyclopenta[a]pentalene-4-carboxylic acid methyl ester (308j). Prepared by<br />

following general procedure T with: 307 (37 mg, 0.072 mmol), propargylamine (15 µL, 0.22<br />

mmol), AcOH (90 µL). Yield 308j (34 mg, 89%).<br />

1 H NMR (300 MHz, CDCl3): δ 7.45-7.39 (m, 5H), 7.35-7.27 (m, 5H), 6.25 (s, 1H), 5.09 (dd, J =<br />

17.6, 1.7 Hz, 1H), 4.87 (dd, J = 17.6, 1.4 Hz, 1H), 4.23 (d, J = 13.6 Hz, 1H), 3.87 (d, J = 7.2 Hz,<br />

1H), 3.74-3.58 (m, 4H), 3.62 (s, 3H), 3.39 (d, J = 13.3 Hz, 1H), 3.37-3.31 (m, 1H), 3.23-3.17 (m,<br />

1H), 3.65 (dd, J = 15.8, 7.4 Hz, 1H), 2.35-2.23 (m, 3H), 1.98-1.90 (m, 4H); 13 C NMR (75 MHz,<br />

CDCl3): δ 172.2, 169.7, 161.5, 141.0, 137.5, 137.0, 130.9, 129.6, 129.0, 128.4, 128.2, 126.8,<br />

126.2, 123.1, 109.3, 79.0, 72.8, 72.1, 56.2, 52.1, 52.0, 45.5, 39.2, 35.9, 28.7; IR (thin film): ν<br />
