Follow<strong>in</strong>g are English translations of passages <strong>in</strong> Lat<strong>in</strong>, Italian <strong>and</strong> <strong>French</strong>. In some cases a few words<br />

orig<strong>in</strong>ally <strong>in</strong> English are <strong>in</strong>cluded <strong>to</strong> help the reader locate the passage.<br />
