Hats off to Butley Hall<br />

It’s full steam ahead on the restoration and<br />

redevelopment of Butley Hall, Prestbury’s<br />

Grade II listed mansion house, which is<br />

being returned to its former residential<br />

glory by Edengate Bespoke Homes.<br />

The late 17th-century Georgian-style<br />

mansion house, featured in The Domesday<br />

Book, has seen various cosmetic changes<br />

Adeona Travel in Cheadle Hulme handed a<br />

cheque to Francis House for £500, which<br />

they raised through a competition to win a<br />

weekend in Switzerland and a trip on the<br />

Glacier Express. Congratulations to local<br />

resident Jennifer Jones who won the prize.<br />

The Butley Hall Development<br />

team assembles on-site to<br />

kick-start construction.<br />

A Manchester mum who set up her own<br />

business after the birth of her second child<br />

Eve Murphy, 34, who lives in Withington<br />

with her husband and two children, took<br />

a leap of faith after ten years as a PE and<br />

dance teacher to pursue her dream of<br />

establishing her own dance school. Two<br />

years on, Dancing Days now runs classes<br />

in Cheadle, Bramhall and Cheadle Hulme<br />

for children aged 16 months to 7 years. The<br />

business will also see its first franchise open<br />

in September.<br />

Dancing Days offers a wide range of carefully<br />

developed preschool classes as well as<br />

ballet, street dance and dance parties.<br />
