Adeona Travel raises £500 for Francis House
Hats off to Butley Hall
It’s full steam ahead on the restoration and
redevelopment of Butley Hall, Prestbury’s
Grade II listed mansion house, which is
being returned to its former residential
glory by Edengate Bespoke Homes.
The late 17th-century Georgian-style
mansion house, featured in The Domesday
Book, has seen various cosmetic changes
over the years, it’s most significant being

Adeona Travel in Cheadle Hulme handed a
cheque to Francis House for £500, which
they raised through a competition to win a
weekend in Switzerland and a trip on the
Glacier Express. Congratulations to local
resident Jennifer Jones who won the prize.

Local mum nominated
A Manchester mum who set up her own
business after the birth of her second child
has been nominated for a top national
award that celebrates the best activities for
youngsters across the country.
Eve Murphy, 34, who lives in Withington
with her husband and two children, took
a leap of faith after ten years as a PE and
dance teacher to pursue her dream of
establishing her own dance school. Two
years on, Dancing Days now runs classes
in Cheadle, Bramhall and Cheadle Hulme
for children aged 16 months to 7 years. The
business will also see its first franchise open
in September.
Dancing Days offers a wide range of carefully
developed preschool classes as well as
ballet, street dance and dance parties.
