on potato pancake and horseradish
cream, roast rack of lamb with minted
herb crust and thyme-roasted potatoes
and frozen whisky cream, served with
prunes and Earl Grey syrup. Great value
and attentive, friendly staff make this a
pleasurable dining experience. The hotel
also boasts a luxuriously spacious 100 square
foot alfresco terrace, something that can be

city. It offers seating for up to 120 and its own
grazing menu - ideal for drinks in the summer
months.
The Hampshire has a variety of conference
and private dining facilities that are ideal
for meetings, training courses, weddings
and private dining. Up to 70 can be
accommodated for dinner, or 90 theatrestyle.
A unique feature is the spacious
Penthouse Suite, with breathtaking views
of London’s skyline, including the London
Eye, Big Ben and Nelson’s Column. This suite
is ideal for VIP meetings, formal lunches,
dinners and weddings, and has its own
registration area, cloakroom and facilities.
Business services include a full-service business

Travel to London was with Virgin Trains, which runs
services every 20 minutes to/from London Euston
to Manchester, six and half days a week. A typical
journey time between London and Manchester is
just two hours and seven minutes.
