North West Gynaecology is a group
of consultant gynaecologists
which was formed in 2007,
covering the complete spectrum of
gynaecological problems. Like many
other specialties, Gynaecology has many
sub-specialist areas and it is no longer
possible for one gynaecologist to be an
expert in all these areas. We provide
a unique service making sure that you
see the right gynaecologist to treat your
particular problem. Whilst providing
comprehensive general gynaecological
care, North West Gynaecology provides
subspecialist gynaecological care, to
the women of Manchester, Cheshire,
Lancashire and the rest of the UK.
Dr Edmond Edi-Osagie
Dr Edmond Edi-Osagie is a
consultant Gynaecologist with
special interest in Infertility
and advanced laparoscopic
(keyhole) surgery. He provides a
comprehensive service for Infertility
and Advanced laparoscopic surgery.

Dr Gail Busby
Dr Gail Busby is a consultant
Gynaecologist whose interests
include Gynaecological Ultrasound
Scanning, Outpatient Gynaecology,
Minimal Access (keyhole) Surgery
and Paediatric and Adolescent
Gynaecology.
Dr Kristina Naidoo
Dr Kristina Naidoo is a general
gynaecologist with a special interest
in hysteroscopic surgery
(minimal access surgery on the
womb) and outpatient gynaecology.
Dr Rick Clayton
Dr Rick Clayton is a consultant
gynaecologist and accredited as
a sub-specialty trained surgeon
in gynaecological oncology (cancer).
He is also trained to an
advanced level in laparoscopic
(keyhole) surgery.
Dr Tony Smith
Dr Tony Smith is a consultant
Gynaecologist whose subspeciality
is urogynaecology and has been
at the forefront of development of
laparoscopic techniques (“keyhole
surgery”) in the surgical treatment
of prolapse and incontinence.
