Mr. Elsner is currently J-Street’s Vice-president<br />
of Communications. His career has placed him in the<br />
top ranks of American and International Journalism<br />
including stints as State Department and White House<br />
correspondent for Reuters News Agency. His published<br />
works include “Gates of Injustice: <strong>The</strong> Crises in America’s<br />
Prisons” and “<strong>The</strong> Nazi Hunter”.<br />

Scholarship opportunities:<br />
<strong>The</strong> Donald E. Jacobs Student Loan Fund<br />
This fund assists Jewish students who are attending<br />
college or post-graduate school<br />
with interest-free loans to defray the cost of tuition.<br />

Applications must be returned no later than<br />
May 31 st .<br />
Camp Scholarships<br />
<strong>The</strong> <strong>Temple</strong> offers partial camp scholarships to the<br />
children of members of the congregation.<br />
Just write a letter to Rabbi Schiftan explaining why<br />
you want to go to camp. Letters must be received by<br />
