Aims and objectives
My lecture will present the technical nuances and details of laparoscopic and robotic partial nephrectomy.
The techniques presented will include all 3 types of partial nephrectomy: Conventional-clamping, earlyunclamping
and zero-ischemia techniques.

Aims and objectives
Robot-assisted partial nephrectomy is today a standardised technique offering precise resection of the
tumour and quick reconstruction of the defect. This is done under warm ischemia clamping the main renal
artery and wherever possible clamping of a secundary or tertiary branch. Bleeding is so minor and vision
superior. After inner renorrhaphy closure, early unclamping can be performed allowing warm ischemia
times to be low without significant clinical consequences for the renal function
