Aims and objectives
At the conclusion of this educational activity, participants should be able to:
• Identify the current indications and contraindications for laparoscopic and robot assisted laparoscopic
radical cystectomy with extended lymph node dissection.
• Illustrate the operative steps and techniques for laparoscopic and robot assisted laparoscopic radical
cystectomy and extended pelvic lymph node dissection.
• Identify the current indications and contraindications for laparoscopic and robot assisted laparoscopic
creation of an intracorporeal and extracorporeal urinary diversion.
• Discuss surgical tricks and tips learned from review of video clips of laparoscopic and robot assisted
laparoscopic radical cystectomy.
