Keith Schulz, who has been with the <strong>Rockies</strong> since their inaugural season,<br />

enters his eighth season as director of clubhouse operations after being named<br />

to the position on October 22, 2004. He previously spent 12 years managing the<br />

visiting clubhouse.<br />

“Schulzy” oversees the ordering of equipment and managing inventory<br />

throughout the season. He handles the club’s equipment transportation and<br />

assembles the players’ postgame meals.<br />

Schulz, 48, joined the <strong>Rockies</strong> after serving as equipment manager for both the Triple-A Denver<br />

Zephyrs and Metro State College from 1988-92.<br />

A former infielder, Schulzy played one season for Pat Daugherty at Indian Hills Community College,<br />

then transferred to Metro State College of Denver, where he earned all-conference honors as a shortstop.<br />

Born February 24, 1963 in Denver, Keith and his wife, Melinda, have a son, Aaron (8/31/00), and<br />

a daughter, Lauren (11/6/01), and reside in Highlands Ranch. He has a degree in psychology from Metro<br />

State (‘86).<br />

Alan Bossart begins his sixth season as the visiting clubhouse manager.<br />

One of the club’s original employees, Alan is beginning his 21st year with the<br />

<strong>Rockies</strong>. Previously, he oversaw the departments of Promotions, Special Events,<br />

In-Game Entertainment and TV/Radio Broadcasting.<br />

In 2009, Bossart and his staff were awarded with the Sheehy Clubhouse<br />

Award for the NL Visiting Clubhouse of the Year.<br />

Bossart, 50, is a 40-year resident of Denver and was a member of the<br />

<strong>Colorado</strong> Baseball Commission charged with the task to bring Major League Baseball to the city. He<br />

attended South High School, where he played baseball and soccer, earning all-conference honors in soccer.<br />

Bossart attended <strong>Colorado</strong> College and Denver University, studying Business Management.<br />

Born August 17, 1961, in North Hampton, MA, Alan and his wife, Kim, have three boys, Kyle<br />

(2/19/87), Corey (8/27/89) and CJ (9/22/95). The family resides in Centennial.<br />
