Writing. Pupils write a detailed presentation of
themselves following the framework supplied.

Speaking. Read together through the tip box on
preparing for the presentation. In groups of three:
the fi rst pupil gives his/her presentation from
exercise 5; the second comments on the language
and pronunciation of the presentation; the third
identifi es a favourite sentence in the presentation.
Each pupil takes a turn at each role.
Plenary
Put the class into teams. Prompt each team
in turn with one of the English headings in the
box in exercise 5. Each team works together
to form a correct sentence in response, then
one person tells you the sentence. Award two
points for a completely correct answer, and
one point for an answer with a small mistake.
Note: This Studio Teacher’s Guide suggests
lots of team games. To save time, you may want
to set up permanent teams at the start of term.
You could keep a running total of points scored
and award a prize to the winning team at the
end of each term.
