THE TEYSTING PLACE.
The shadows of evening on the first day in
Holy Week were deepening rapidly, and
melting the various features of the land-
scape into one indistinct mass, when a young
female descended from the Colette on the
side of Rora, and secreted herself among
the brushwood which edged the Pelice.
