Brent Hurd Scholarship<br />

NUMBER GIVEN: 1<br />

AMOUNT: $1,500<br />

TYPE: Merit<br />

ELIGIBILITY: Full-time, regularly enrolled graduate-<br />

level student in the College <strong>of</strong> Public Health MHA<br />

program, having completed no more than 30 credit<br />

hours; must have on overall GPA <strong>of</strong> 3.5 or higher; must<br />

be U.S. citizen and have potential for a successful<br />

career as a health administrator.<br />

DEADLINE: February 29<br />

ConocoPhillips Occupational and Environmental<br />

Health Endowed Scholarship<br />

NUMBER GIVEN: 2<br />

AMOUNT: $2,500<br />

TYPE: Merit/Need<br />

ELIGIBILITY: Full-time, regularly enrolled students in<br />

the College <strong>of</strong> Public Health Department <strong>of</strong> Occupational<br />

and Environmental Health. Must have satisfactorily<br />

completed nine hours in the College <strong>of</strong> Public Health;<br />

and have a minimum GPA <strong>of</strong> 3.5. Consideration may<br />

be given to students from an underrepresented group.<br />

COPH Advisory Board Scholarship<br />

NUMBER GIVEN: 1<br />

AMOUNT: $2,500<br />

TYPE: Merit/Need<br />

ELIGIBILITY: Full-time, regularly enrolled student in<br />

the College <strong>of</strong> Public Health. Must have a minimum<br />

GPA <strong>of</strong> 3.5 and have demonstrated financial need.<br />

Consideration may be given to students with promise<br />

and potential for a distinguished career in the field <strong>of</strong><br />

public health.<br />

Dan J. Macer Scholarship<br />

NUMBER GIVEN: 2<br />

AMOUNT: $2,500<br />

TYPE: Merit/Need<br />

ELIGIBILITY: Full-time (at least 9 hours), regularly<br />

enrolled student in the College <strong>of</strong> Public Health.<br />

Maintain an overall GPA <strong>of</strong> 3.3 each semester.<br />

Continuous enrollment (Fall and Spring) semesters<br />

throughout both years <strong>of</strong> award.<br />

David J. Falcone Memorial Scholarship<br />

NUMBER GIVEN: 1<br />

AMOUNT: $2,500<br />

TYPE: Merit/Need<br />

ELIGIBILITY: Full-time, regularly enrolled graduate<br />

level student in the College <strong>of</strong> Public Health MHA<br />

program, having completed between 24-30 credit<br />

hours in the program. Must have an overall GPA <strong>of</strong><br />

3.5 and potential for a distinguished career in the field.<br />

Must be a U.S. citizen.<br />

Edmund H. Gleason Scholarship<br />

NUMBER GIVEN: 1<br />

AMOUNT: $2,500<br />

TYPE: Merit/Need<br />

ELIGIBILITY: Full-time, regularly enrolled student in<br />

the College <strong>of</strong> Public Health. Must have an overall<br />

GPA <strong>of</strong> 3.0. Among the plus factors considered will be<br />

membership in an underrepresented group, such as<br />

American Indian, Alaskan Native, African-American, etc.<br />

Other plus factors include obstacles the applicant has<br />

overcome, socioeconomic background, membership<br />

among a group with significant health disparities, and<br />

unique attributes an applicant may possess.<br />

Edward N. Brandt, Jr. Scholarship<br />

NUMBER GIVEN: 2<br />

AMOUNT: $2,500<br />

TYPE: Merit/Need<br />

ELIGIBILITY: Full-time, regularly enrolled student in<br />

the College <strong>of</strong> Public Health or the College <strong>of</strong> Medicine.<br />

Must have an overall GPA <strong>of</strong> 3.5 and be a resident <strong>of</strong><br />

<strong>Oklahoma</strong>.<br />

Elisa T. Lee Scholarship<br />

NUMBER GIVEN: 1<br />

AMOUNT: $2,500<br />

TYPE: Merit/Need<br />

ELIGIBILITY: Full-time, regularly enrolled student in<br />

the College <strong>of</strong> Public Health. Must have an overall GPA<br />

<strong>of</strong> 3.5 and have demonstrated potential for success in<br />

a public health area.<br />
