Environment <strong>Control</strong> Table<br />

The environment control table (ECT) is a<br />

32-byte data area constructed by the<br />

terminal monitor program (TMP)<br />

initialization routine (IKJEFT01). It<br />

contains information about the user's<br />

environment in the foreground region. This<br />

data area resides in subpool 1 and is<br />

updated by the command processors. It is<br />

used by the command processors and the TMP<br />

processors.<br />
