Tim Wise is among the most prominent anti-racist writers and<br />

activists working for racial, class and gender equity in the U.S.<br />

Join us he challenges the myth of a colorblind society, unpacks<br />

white privilege, and analyzes U.S. politics in the age of President<br />

Barack Obama. Wise’s most recent book is Colorblind: The Rise<br />

of Post-Racial Politics and the Retreat from Racial Equity. He is<br />

also the author of Between Barack and a Hard Place: Challenging<br />

Racism, Privilege and Denial in the Age of Obama, which explores<br />

the issues of race within the context of the Obama presidency.<br />

must find the perfect thesis topic, or face expulsion from his<br />

program. Will Julian manage brilliance at the 11th hour? Or will he<br />

crash and burn (in hilarious fashion) like so many before him? Find<br />
