Were you involved in high school or your previous institution
and are thinking about continuing your leadership development
at Cal State L.A.? This 30-minute session will give you a
passport to leadership so you can enhance your leadership
experiences through the Center for Student Involvement's
leadership programs: Find out more on how you can take the
L.E.A.P. through the fall quarter Leadership Exploration and
Advancement Program. Develop your leadership skills and get
to know other CSULA student leaders through the 10-week
Winter Quarter Leader Project. Navigate your organization to
success through the quarterly U-Lead workshop series. These
programs are free, exciting, and are an excellent complement to
your university experience!

Studies, Chicano Studies, Latin American Studies, Pan-African
Studies, Women’s and Gender Studies, and related co-curricular
areas for a dialogue on why race, class, and gender continue to
matter in the U.S. Learn about the exciting research, courses,
programs, and campus organizations that address the enduring
relevance of Area, Ethnic, and Gender Studies. Opportunities
to enroll in Fall classes will be available on site, as well as
opportunities to get involved with Cross Cultural Centers events..

Pick up an application and find out how to get involved in a
weekend overnight retreat presented by the Cross Cultural
Centers, which focuses on social justice, diversity, and inclusion.
Retreat takes place January 14-15, 2011. Student participants
must apply in order to be considered for the weekend retreat.
Applications due Friday, November 5, by 5 pm at the Cross
Cultural Centers.

CSI works with over 100 student organizations, plans on &
off-campus activities, and facilitates leadership development
activities throughout the year. Come by for a few minutes to
get information on how you can get involved. Getting involved
on campus is a great way to make friends, add experiences to
your resume, and really get everything you want out of your
university experience. Plus, we’ll have tasty snacks, too!
