and are thinking about continuing your leadership development<br />

at Cal State L.A.? This 30-minute session will give you a<br />

passport to leadership so you can enhance your leadership<br />

experiences through the Center for <strong>Student</strong> Involvement's<br />

leadership programs: Find out more on how you can take the<br />

L.E.A.P. through the fall quarter Leadership Exploration and<br />

Advancement Program. Develop your leadership skills and get<br />

to know other CSULA student leaders through the 10-week<br />

Winter Quarter Leader Project. Navigate your organization to<br />

success through the quarterly U-Lead workshop series. These<br />

programs are free, exciting, and are an excellent complement to<br />

your university experience!<br />

areas for a dialogue on why race, class, and gender continue to<br />

matter in the U.S. Learn about the exciting research, courses,<br />

programs, and campus organizations that address the enduring<br />

relevance of Area, Ethnic, and Gender Studies. Opportunities<br />

to enroll in Fall classes will be available on site, as well as<br />

opportunities to get involved with Cross Cultural Centers events..<br />

Pick up an application and find out how to get involved in a<br />

weekend overnight retreat presented by the Cross Cultural<br />

Centers, which focuses on social justice, diversity, and inclusion.<br />

Retreat takes place January 14-15, 2011. <strong>Student</strong> participants<br />

must apply in order to be considered for the weekend retreat.<br />

Applications due Friday, November 5, by 5 pm at the Cross<br />

Cultural Centers.<br />

and see what makes this office a must-see for all students.<br />

CSI works with over 100 student organizations, plans on &<br />

off-campus activities, and facilitates leadership development<br />

activities throughout the year. Come by for a few minutes to<br />

get information on how you can get involved. Getting involved<br />

on campus is a great way to make friends, add experiences to<br />

your resume, and really get everything you want out of your<br />

university experience. Plus, we’ll have tasty snacks, too!<br />
