SUNDAY: Meet in Paris for a Private
Driver Transfer to Dijon. On arrival,
continue to ‘Amaryllis,’ where a
champagne reception awaits. There is
time to relax before your first gourmet
dinner on board.
MONDAY: Cruise to Longecourt along
the peaceful Canal de Bourgogne this
morning. After lunch, tour Château de
Longecourt. Rich in history and décor,
it has remained in the same family since
1631. During World War II, the Château
hosted American pilots who left “graffiti”
on the walls of its stable.
TUESDAY: In Dijon this morning, stroll
the market with a walking tour that
includes the Ducal Palace and mustard
shop. Back on board ‘Amaryllis,’ cruise
to St-Jean-de-Losne, the barge capital of
‘Amaryllis’ on the Canal de Bourgogne in Burgundy, France
France, where there is time to explore
the bustling port before dinner.
WEDNESDAY: On the River Saône
today, cruise to Seurre for lunch
ashore. Then discover Beaune with its
fascinating medieval charity hospital,
Hôtel-Dieu. After a wine tasting,
continue cruising to Chalon-sur-
Saône for a walking tour of this lovely
Burgundian-style river town.
THURSDAY: Enter the Canal du Centre
today, with excellent opportunities for
walking or cycling on the towpath en
route to the overnight mooring at Rully.
After lunch, visit the estate of Château
de Germolles, one of the last residences
of the Dukes of Burgundy.
FRIDAY: Enjoy a last leisurely cruise
to St-Léger-sur-Dheune this morning.
