Charité-sur-Loire, an important site of<br />
Burgundian Romanesque art. Then relax<br />
on board as ‘Hirondelle’ cruises toward<br />
Ménétréol for a tour and tasting at a goat<br />
cheese farm.<br />

prestigious producer of Pouilly Fumé.<br />
THURSDAY: Cruise toward Châtillonsur-Loire<br />
today to visit a faïence pottery<br />
factory in the beautiful town of Gien.<br />
This traditional tin-glazed pottery has<br />
been produced since the 17th century.<br />
Continue to the remarkable Château<br />
de la Bussière with its imposing setting<br />
and medicinal gardens. Known as “the<br />
Fishermen’s castle,” it is home to works<br />
