The Williams Sisters - American Folk.
The Williams Sisters are a Sligo based
musical duo who have just begun to
surface in the local music scene. American born
songwriters Mara (guitar) and Rebecca (piano)
heavily employ the use of harmony in their music,
capitalising on the haunting sounds created when
their two voices blend. With influences ranging from
Sufjan Stevens, Alison
Krauss and Regina
Spektor, The Williams
Sisters have a unique
sound that subtly fuses
American folk with
different genres of pop
music throughout the decades.
