Second <strong>Internal</strong> Loan of 1915<br />

Dated—May 14, 1915.<br />

(Third <strong>War</strong> Loan)<br />

Due—Holders may present their bonds at the State Bank or<br />

its branches on December 14, 1920, for payment at par the<br />

following May 14, 1921. Bonds not so presented will mature<br />

not later than May 14, 1996.<br />

Period of Subscription—Nov. 18, 1915, to Dec. 3, 1915.<br />

Interest Rate—5>4% until May 14, 1921 and 5% thereafter.<br />

Right of Redemption—Bonds outstanding July, 1921, are<br />

redeemable at par by annual drawings beginning on that<br />

date for payment the following November 14, 1921. Of<br />

the nominal outstanding amount 0.132161% is redeemable<br />

the first drawing, to be increased annually by 5% of the<br />

nominal amount of the bonds drawn. Drawings may not<br />

be increased nor can the bonds be converted or entirely<br />

redeemed before May 14, 1927.<br />

Interest Dates—May 14 and November 14.<br />

Issue Price—99.<br />

Form and Denomination—Coupon or registered bonds in<br />

denominations of 100, 500, 1,000, 5,000 and 10,000 rubles.<br />

Method of Subscription—Subscriptions were received by the<br />

State Bank, its branches and offices, treasuries and most<br />

other banks and branches.<br />

Method of Payment—5% of the issue price in either cash or<br />

securities at prices given at the places of subscription was<br />

deposited as a pledge at the time of subscription. 25%<br />

payable upon allotment not later than June 2, 1915, 25%<br />

July 28, 1915, 25% August 28, 1915, and 24% September<br />

28, 1915. Final payment included interest from May 14,<br />

1915. Payment could be made in full on or after June 2,<br />

1915. Subscriptions for 1,000 rubles or less and at the<br />

treasuries for 500 rubles or less were payable in full June<br />

2, 1915.<br />

Fiscal Service—Principal of bonds presented on December<br />

14, 1920, for payment the following May 14, 1921, is payable<br />

at the State Bank or its branches where so presented.<br />
