(Sixth <strong>War</strong> Loan)<br />

Period of Subscription—November 2, 1916 to February 13,<br />

1917.<br />

Interest Dates—April 14 and October 14.<br />

Issue Price—95.<br />

Form and Denomination—Coupon or registered bonds in<br />

three series of 1,000,000,000 rubles each, in denominations<br />

of 50, 100, 500, 1,000, 5,000, 10,000 and 25,000 rubles.<br />

Method of Subscription—Subscriptions were received by the<br />

State Bank, its branches and offices, Government savings<br />

offices and treasuries, including those established for the<br />

military, most other banks and branches, mutual credit<br />

associations, administrations of cities and Zemstvos and<br />

a number of notary offices.<br />

Method of Payment—Subscriptions for 500 rubles arid less<br />

at the State Bank, its branches and offices, most banks<br />

and their branches, and for 200 rubles and less at other<br />

places, were payable in full at time of subscription.<br />

Larger amounts were payable 50% at the time of subscription<br />

and the balance not later than February 13, 1917.<br />

S% Short Term Treasury obligations were accepted in payment<br />

under 5% discount. Bonds of the Fourth and Fifth<br />

<strong>War</strong> <strong>Loans</strong> were accepted in payment at their issue prices,<br />

plus accrued interest. All bonds of previous war loans,<br />

were accepted by the State Bank, its branches and offices<br />

and treasuries, as collateral for loans until January 14,<br />

1918, if the proceeds were used to purchase bonds of the<br />

present loan.<br />

Fiscal Service—Principal and interest payable at the State<br />

Bank, its branches and offices, at offices of the Treasury<br />

where no branch or office of the State Bank is located, and<br />

at other places subsequently designated by the Minister<br />

of Finance.<br />
