Finding Head Space is Child’s Play<br />

Time: 2.00pm – 3.30pm<br />
A workshop for parents and their children to attend together. The first half an hour will see a talk for<br />
parents about the importance of mental health, while their children stay entertained with some fun<br />
activit<strong>ie</strong>s. The last hour is fun all around in an arts and craft session with an Easter theme. (Hosted by<br />
<strong>Limerick</strong> City Children’s Services Committee, Start Right <strong>Limerick</strong>, HSE and Social Services Council.)<br />

A fun and informal life drawing session with a var<strong>ie</strong>ty of materials and a clothed model provided, led by<br />
artist Derrick Towell. All abilit<strong>ie</strong>s welcome to try their hand at drawing, learn new skills/ techniques and<br />
take time out to get creative. Max 24 participants- arrive early to avoid disappointment.<br />

Genealogy Workshops<br />

Irish Ancestry Research Centre (IARC) Genealogy Workshops will consist of an Introduction to Genealogy,<br />
the basics of how to begin family history research, an outline of the recommended resources to use and<br />
how to use online sources. We would also offer more advanced classes to those who have attended our<br />
workshops in previous years.<br />

DMARC Presents<br />

The Digital Media Arts & Research Centre (DMARC), University of <strong>Limerick</strong>, present a ser<strong>ie</strong>s of installations,<br />
surround-sound works, mixed-media dance and live audiovisual performances, reflecting current practice<br />
where technology and artistic endeavour collide. All work presented has been created in <strong>Limerick</strong> by both<br />
staff and students.<br />
Arduino Workshop<br />

Arduino is an open-source electronic prototyping platform. It was designed for making the process of<br />
using electronics in multidisciplinary projects more accessible. This event is of interest to people with<br />
basic programming skills (ages 8 to 90!). Hosted by UL Interaction Design Centre and miLKlabs.<br />

<strong>Limerick</strong> County Council in association with Eco-Unesco will facilitate this workshop being hosted by<br />
Athea Tidy Towns. This workshop aims to provide individuals/groups with an understanding of the issues<br />
surrounding waste in relation to sustainable development, to promote care for the wider environment<br />
and empower people with skills and knowledge to promote sustainable change through environmental<br />
