Week Long Events<br />
iMix – LCFE Online Radio: Week-long broadcast coverage of the festival<br />
<strong>Limerick</strong> College of Further Education is celebrating 50 years providing education in the city this year. To<br />
mark the opening of its celebrations, LCFE’s online radio station iMix will become the ‘voice of the festival’<br />
by dedicating all of its programming across the week to the <strong>Limerick</strong> <strong>Lifelong</strong> <strong>Learning</strong> <strong>Festival</strong>. From news on<br />
events to interv<strong>ie</strong>ws with those involved and reporter packages from a number of event locations in the city<br />
and county, the station will bring all the colour of the festival to life through live broadcasts and downloadable<br />
podcasts. Staffed entirely by media students at LCFE, iMix as the ‘voice of the festival’ will bring live learning to<br />
life. Live audio will be streamed through the station’s website www.imixradio.<strong>ie</strong> and the station will broadcast<br />
live from the Thomond Park <strong>Festival</strong> Event on Saturday, March 23 rd .<br />
Parent and Toddler Speech and Language Awareness Roadshow<br />
<strong>Limerick</strong> City and County Childcare Committees will visit Parent and Toddler groups during the week of the<br />
<strong>Festival</strong> to provide exciting information on the NALA website for parents www.helpmykidlearn.<strong>ie</strong>.<br />

For this week we will be showcasing all the different groups that partake in <strong>Learning</strong> programmes in our<br />
centre, we will have an information stand on display in our centre showing the progammes and groups<br />
