viçrutätmä surärihä<br />

amåtyu – Lord Kåñëa is deathless, and also frees His devotees from<br />

death; sarva-dåk – He sees everything, including the devotional<br />

activities <strong>of</strong> His servants; siàha – He sprinkles the nectar <strong>of</strong> His<br />

merciful glance upon His pure devotees, and He becomes like a<br />

ferocious lion to attack the demons; sandhätä – He is the creator <strong>of</strong><br />

innumerable universes, and He appeared as Lord Rämacandra, the<br />

most expert archer; sandhimän – in His plan to kill Rävaëa and<br />

rescue Sétä, He became the ally <strong>of</strong> Sugréva; sthira – He is the constant<br />

friend <strong>of</strong> Vibhéñanä and all who approach to take shelter <strong>of</strong> Him; aja<br />

– He never takes birth in a material body, and He never abandons<br />

His friend; durmarñaëa – He is merciful; çästä – He is expert at<br />

punishing the demons; viçrutätmä – He is famous as Lord Räma, the<br />

killer <strong>of</strong> Rävaëa, who is very merciful to His devotees; surärihä – He<br />

kills the demons who are always inimical to the demigods and<br />

satyaù satya-paräkramaù<br />

nimiño ’nimiñaù sragvé<br />

väcaspatir udära-dhéù<br />

guru – Lord Kåñëa empowers the instructing and initiating spiritual<br />

masters to benefit the residents <strong>of</strong> the material world with His<br />

devotional service; gurutama – He is Himself the best <strong>of</strong> spiritual<br />

masters, who taught Brahmä and other great devotees; dhäma – He is<br />

the shelter and resting place <strong>of</strong> everything; satya – He is the<br />

benefactor <strong>of</strong> Viçvämitra and other saintly devotees, and He is always<br />

truthful; satya-paräkrama – His extraordinary prowess is supremely<br />

auspicious; nimiña – He blinks, not recognizing the sinful actions <strong>of</strong><br />

His devotees; animiña – He never blinks in His continual recognition<br />

<strong>of</strong> the auspicious activities <strong>of</strong> devotional service; sragvé – He wears a<br />

vaijayanté garland; väcaspati – He is the protector <strong>of</strong> Sarasvaté, the<br />

goddess <strong>of</strong> learning; udära-dhé – He is very generous.
