Monterey County Codes (MCC). This ordinance is intended to address issues<br />

raised regarding wells in fractured rock that led to a moratorium, create<br />

implementing language for new general plan policy, update requirements based<br />

on current information <strong>and</strong> technology, address general issues <strong>of</strong> concern, <strong>and</strong><br />

clean up language consistent with changes in <strong>State</strong> laws.<br />

The application is for a CUP to allow the removal <strong>and</strong> relocation/reconstruction <strong>of</strong><br />

approximately 450 feet to the southwest <strong>of</strong> the existing tower in order to comply<br />

with the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) construction permit.<br />

Proposal to develop approx. 1.5 acres <strong>of</strong> vacant l<strong>and</strong> into a retail facility. The<br />

applicant proposes a 12,480 sf bldg, 68 space parking lot with drive isles loading<br />

area & retention basins. Applicant has also processed a parcel merger <strong>of</strong> 7<br />

parcels, 0618-141-01 thru 07.<br />

<strong>2012</strong>061009 Hoover High School Practice Field Lighting Project<br />

Glendale Unified School District<br />

The proposed project site is the existing practice field area <strong>of</strong> the Hoover High<br />

School campus. The project site consists <strong>of</strong> an oval grass field <strong>and</strong> a dirt running<br />

track, confined by walls, fences, or structures on all sides. The proposed project<br />

involves the installation <strong>and</strong> operation <strong>of</strong> four, 90-foot-tall light poles along the<br />

perimeter <strong>of</strong> the running track <strong>and</strong> the development <strong>of</strong> a 1,500 sf one-story<br />

restroom <strong>and</strong> storage facility. The project would allow for HHS sports team<br />

practices that currently conclude at dusk be extended approximately 30 minutes to<br />

2 hours, depending on time <strong>of</strong> year, in order for practice to be properly concluded<br />

<strong>and</strong> athlete to depart in a safe manner. Night time games for the HHS football <strong>and</strong><br />

soccer teams would not occur.<br />

<strong>2012</strong>062004 Public Facilities Zoning Ordinance<br />

Monte Sereno, City <strong>of</strong><br />

Monte Sereno--Santa Clara<br />

The proposed projects is an amendment to the Monte Sereno Municipal Code to<br />

create a public zoning district <strong>and</strong> rezone the properties located at 18011<br />

Saratoga-Los Gatos Road (410-17-026) <strong>and</strong> 18041 Saratoga-Los Gatos Road<br />

(410-17-027). The Public Facilities zoning will allow for government buildings <strong>and</strong><br />

emergency shelters. The site is currently zoned R-1-8, but has been used for<br />

governmental purposed (i.e. City Hall <strong>and</strong> Post <strong>Office</strong>) for over 30 years.<br />
