Amendment to the County-wide Water Well Ordinance, Monterey County Code -
Chapter 15.08 that consist of modifications to the existing Chapter 15.08 of the
Monterey County Codes (MCC). This ordinance is intended to address issues
raised regarding wells in fractured rock that led to a moratorium, create
implementing language for new general plan policy, update requirements based
on current information and technology, address general issues of concern, and
clean up language consistent with changes in State laws.

The application is for a CUP to allow the removal and relocation/reconstruction of
one of four existing AM radio antenna towers. The replacement tower would be
constructed on the same property located at 2766 S. Santa Fe Avenue,
approximately 450 feet to the southwest of the existing tower in order to comply
with the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) construction permit.

applicant proposes a 12,480 sf bldg, 68 space parking lot with drive isles loading
area & retention basins. Applicant has also processed a parcel merger of 7
parcels, 0618-141-01 thru 07.
2012061009 Hoover High School Practice Field Lighting Project

The proposed project site is the existing practice field area of the Hoover High
School campus. The project site consists of an oval grass field and a dirt running
track, confined by walls, fences, or structures on all sides. The proposed project
involves the installation and operation of four, 90-foot-tall light poles along the
perimeter of the running track and the development of a 1,500 sf one-story
restroom and storage facility. The project would allow for HHS sports team
practices that currently conclude at dusk be extended approximately 30 minutes to
2 hours, depending on time of year, in order for practice to be properly concluded
and athlete to depart in a safe manner. Night time games for the HHS football and
soccer teams would not occur.
2012062004 Public Facilities Zoning Ordinance

The proposed projects is an amendment to the Monte Sereno Municipal Code to
create a public zoning district and rezone the properties located at 18011
Saratoga-Los Gatos Road (410-17-026) and 18041 Saratoga-Los Gatos Road
(410-17-027). The Public Facilities zoning will allow for government buildings and
emergency shelters. The site is currently zoned R-1-8, but has been used for
governmental purposed (i.e. City Hall and Post Office) for over 30 years.
