2009071031 Berth 302-306 (APL) Container Terminal Project

The proposed Project would expand and improve the existing Berths 302-305
marine container terminal from the current 291 acres to approximately 347 acres,
including extension of the existing wharf by 1,250 feet (creating Berth 306), to
accommodate an annual throughput of up to approximately 3.2 million twenty foot
equivalent units (TEUs) by 2027. The overall purpose of the proposed Project is to
optimize and expand the cargo-handling capacity at the APL Terminal to provide a
portion of the facilities needed to accommodate the long-term growth in the
volume of containerized cargo through the Port and at the APL Terminal while
implementing the Port's green growth strategy.
2009074006 Lytton Residential Development

Rancheria for the construction of 147 residential units and associated facilities,
including infrastructure improvements and community buildings.
2009091026 Sycuan Band of the Kumeyaay Nation Fee-to-Trust

The Sycuan Band of the Kumeyaay Nation (Tribe) submitted a revised application
in May of 2011 to the Bureau of Indian Affairs (BIA) to approve the acquisition in
trust of 21 San Diego County assessor's parcels totaling 1,357 acres of land
(hereafter, "Sycuan Property").
2012061025 Walnut Avenue Rule 20A & Pedestrian Project

The Walnut Avenue Rule 20A & Pedestrian Project (proposed project) would
complete a variety of improvements along the remaining unimproved portions of
Walnut Avenue, specifically between Santa Fe Drive and CA Street and a portion
of CA Street north of Walnut Avenue. Specific improvements include the
following:
- Curb, gutter, and sidewalks (ADA Compliant) along both sides of Walnut Avenue
and along the west side of CA Street.
- Class II bike lane and vehicle parking area along Walnut Avenue.
- Traffic calming improvements constructed along Walnut Avenue including a
raised crosswalk/speed table adjacent to Crookham Elementary School and curb
bulb-outs at intersections.
- Undergrounding of utilities along Walnut Avenue.
- New storm drainage system along Walnut Avenue with infiltration basin on
vacant property along Walnut Avenue.
- Existing street lights along Walnut Avenue (currently mounted on wood power
poles) will be converted to County standard street lights mounted on metal poles.
