This Recirculated Portions of the DEIR (RP-DEIR) replaces several portions of the Original DEIR in response to comments received during the public comment period which ended on November 21, 2011 and further review by City staff. The City is recirculated this RP-DEIR pursuant to CEQA Guidelines Section 15088.5, Subdivisions a (1), a(4) and (c). As CEQA Guidelines Section 15088.5, Subdivision (f)(2) permits, the City requests that reviewers limit scope of their comments to that material which is within text of the revised portions included in the RP-DEIR. Pursuant to this, the City also requested that reviewers not make any new comments on old matters not included in this RP-DEIR. 2010031029 University Avenue Mobility Plan San Diego, City of San Diego--San Diego City Council Approval to allow for improvements or modifications related to roadways, transit, pedestrian access, parking, and utilities along an approximately 1.25-mile-long segment of University Avenue, between Florida Street and Boundary Street. The project area extends to Lincoln Avenue to the north and Wightman Avenue and North Park Way to the south. The roadway improvements would consist of the installation of two traffic signal modifications at several intersections, removal of an existing traffic signal, construction of a raised median, installation of additional left-turn pockets at several intersections, and re-striping of University Avenue. The transit improvements would consist of the provision of transit-only lanes along portions of University Avenue in both the eastbound and westbound directions, and consolidation of transit stops to reduce the existing 18 stops to 14 stops. 2010122096 General Plan Update Turlock, City of --Stanislaus The City of Turlock has initiated a comprehensive update of its General Plan, which is an opportunity for community members to explore long-term goals and development for the City. The State of California requires every city and county to have a comprehensive General Plan, which acts as a constitution for long-term physical development. The General Plan identifies current and future needs in areas including land use, transportation, open space and conservation, public services, and environmental quality. The purpose of this project is to update the City's existing General Plan to accommodate the guide development through 2030.
