NORwEGIAN REGI/DIRECTOR: LARS bERG MED/CAST: Nini bakke Kristiansen, helene Nybråten, Emma høgh Åslein, Kristin Skogheim, Edward Schultheiss 12-year-olds Maja, Rikke and Ohna are enjoying their vacation and lazy days at Ohna’s family’s restaurant Saigon House when the police suddenly show up and discover drugs in the restaurant’s cooler. The restaurant is shut down and Ohna’s brother arrested. The girls know he is innocent, but to prove this they must reveal who is behind the drug ring. regISSØr/DIreCtOr Lars Berg is educated at the American Film Institute in Los Angeles, and at the San Francisco Art Institute. He has worked in theatre, TV and film, and his feature film directorial debut was in 1997 with Maja Steinansikt. In 2002 he made Glasskår, winning more than twenty international awards. We observe a man who gradually loses all inhibitions in order to reach the top in the country’s largest weekly magazine. regISSØr/DIreCtOr Terje Rangnes (1966) has been scriptwriter, actor and director of TV series for almost two decades before his debut as feature film director with this film. NORwEGIAN REGI/DIRECTOR: wAYNE MCKNIGhT, MIKKEL MAGNUS MED/CAST: Trond Kirkevaag, Lars Mjøen, Knut Lystad, Tom Mathisen The Dal Brothers are fixing up the new time machine they bought on TV Shop. But suddenly something goes terribly wrong, and the machine evaporates with Gaus and Roms on board. The machine resurfaces in the Viking age, 1000 years back in time, close to where the amusement park Tusenfryd outside <strong>Oslo</strong> is situated today. regISSØr/DIreCtOr Wayne McKnight (b. 1948), Canadian-Norwegian dancer, choreographer and director. Made his debut as an actor in Canada in 1966, relocated to Norway in 1968. Dancer at the National Ballet in 1968, soloist and choreographer from 1971. Made his debut as a director in 1986 with The Fantasticks at Telemark Theatre. Mikkel Magnus has his background from the music business. He has recently worked mainly with marketing and commercials. The Viking Sword’s Curse is his first feature. COLD preY III FRITT VILT III Norway, 2010, 95 min. Falck-Jørgensen, Sturla Rui, Arthur berning, Nils Johnson, Pål Stokka, Trine wiggen, hallvard holmen Cold Prey III, also known as Cold Prey Beginning, is the prequel to the thrillers Cold Prey and Cold Prey II, which both became great box office successes. This film relates the astonishing, dramatic and frightening previous history of Stehøe Mountain Hotel 20 years before the events taking place in the first film. regISSØr/DIreCtOr Mikkel Brænne Sandemose is one of Norway’s most experienced directors in the field of commercials. He has won both national and international awards for his work. He has also made several award-winning music videos. Cold Prey III is his debut as a feature film director. MaDe IN NOrWaY a SOMeWHat geNtLe MaN EN GANSKE SNILL MANN Norway, 2010, 107 min. NORwEGIAN REGI/DIRECTOR: hANS PETTER MOLAND MED/CAST: Stellan Skarsgård, bjørn Floberg, Gard b. Eidsvoll, bjørn Sundquist, Jannike Kruse Jåtog, Kjersti holmen, Jan Gunnar Røise, Aksel hennie, henrik Mestad Ulrik has served a 12-year sentence for murder. Now he's out. He’s in his 50’s, with no future, a family that doesn’t want him, no place to live, and no job. Fortunately his old crew wants to help him. His gangster boss gets him an apartment and a job as a mechanic. He is given a new start. But there’s an old score that has to be settled. regISSØr/DIreCtOr Hans Petter Moland received awards for his commercials before he made his feature debut in 1993 with The Last Lieutenant. He followed this up with Zero Kelvin (1995), Aberdeen (1999), and The Beautiful Country (Competition in Berlin, 2004). His latest feature film was Comrade Pedersen. He also directed the short film United We Stand, which has been awarded prizes at several major film festivals. tHe LIverpOOL gOaLIe KEEPER’N TIL LIVERPOOL Norway, 2010, 90 min. NORwEGIAN REGI/DIRECTOR: ARILD ANDRESEN MED/CAST: Asle van der hagen, Sussanne boucher, Andrine Sæther, Fridtjov Såheim The Liverpool Goalie is a warm comedy, in which both girls and boys play football, worship their idols, and are frustrated by complicated friendships, young love, anxious mothers and overambitious football coaches. At the heart of the events, we find 12-year-old Jo. Jo tries to avoid both potential girlfriends, mothers and football coaches, as he is hunting desperately for a rare football card which he believes will solve all his problems. regISSØr/DIreCtOr Arild Andresen has represented Moland Film Company as a director of commercials, and has since 1999 directed around 100 commercials. He has received many national and international prizes for commercials and commissioned films. He has directed the short films Mary (2000) and Sit Quiet (2003) as well as the Emmy-nominated TV series The Boys. The Liverpool Goalie is his first feature film. NOrWaY.

NORwEGIAN REGI/DIRECTOR: MARTIN LUND MED/CAST: Adrian Grønnevik Smith, Petrus A. Christensen, Pernille Sørensen, Jan Gunnar Røise Twigson meets Karoline. A one-of-a-kind birch twig. It takes an extraordinary girl to match a twig like Twigson. Because twigs like Twigson do not grow on trees. Junior is dreaming of a bicycle of his own. Mum is involved in an accident. Vesla sells waffles, and the Crown Prince gets married. regISSØr/DIreCtOr Martin Lund’s first short film Home Game (2004) was invited to Sundance Film Festival in 2005. He was educated at the Norwegian Film School and Westerdals School of Communication and has worked in the advertising business. This film is his feature film debut. LIMbO LIMBO Norway, 2010, 105 min. NORwEGIAN REGI/DIRECTOR: MARIA SøDAhL MED/CAST: Line Verndal, henrik Rafaelsen, Lena Endre, bryan brown Sonia and her two children arrive in Trinidad to join her husband Jo who is working as an oil engineer. She is introduced to a homeless class of men who have the whole world as their workplace – and their wives, who follow them wherever their contracts take them. On the surface these women live in luxury. regISSØr/DIreCtOr Maria Sødahl was educated as a director at the National Film School of Denmark in 1993. She has directed TV-drama, documentaries and numerous short films. Maria has won multiple national and international awards for her previous work. Limbo is her feature film debut as a writer/director. NOrWaY. NOrWegIaN NINja KOMMANDØR TREHOLT & NINJATROPPEN Norway, 2010, 77 min. NORwEGIAN REGI/DIRECTOR: ThOMAS CAPPELEN MALLING MED/CAST: Mads Ousdal, Jon øigarden, Trond-Viggo Torgersen, Linn Stokke, Amund Maarud, Martinus Grimstad Olsen In 1984, the charismatic Norwegian diplomat Arne Treholt was arrested on charges of spying for the Soviet Union. He is ultimately sentenced to 20 years in prison. But Treholt was never a spy. He was a Ninja, entrusted by King Olav himself to lead a secret force of enlightened shadow warriors called The Ninja Force! A love letter to 1980s Ninja movies, Bond films, conspiracies and special effects, Norwegian Ninja is the radical feature film debut of writer/director Thomas Cappelen Malling. regISSØr/DIreCtOr Writer and director Thomas Cappelen Malling is from Kongsvinger, Norway. His professional background is from the communication industry and he is the author of the cult book Ninjateknikk II – usynlighet i strid 1978, published by Forlaget Oktober. Norwegian Ninja is his feature film debut. SHaMeLeSS MASKEBLOMSTFAMILIEN Norway, 2010, 98 min. NORwEGIAN REGI/DIRECTOR: PETTER NæSS MED/CAST: Marcus Aarnseth, Maria bonnevie, Endride Eidsvold, Kjersti holmen, hallvard holmen, Sven Nordin, Sverre Anker Ousdal It is the summer of 1951. Lillian and Amund Wang have their first and only child. A boy. Or is it a girl? Outside, there’s a solar eclipse. The birds stop singing. The parents refuse the surgery that could make Adrian a complete human being. The apartment in Oscarsgate turns into a hothouse where the most horrible flowers grow. This is where the divided Adrian grows up, with simulation, silence, lies, and dying love. This is where he learns to know his shamelessness. regISSØr/DIreCtOr Petter Næss directed his first feature film, Absolute Hangover, in 1999. His second film, Elling, was nominated for an Academy Award for Best Foreign Feature in 2002. In 2005 he directed Love Me Tomorrow, the last film about Elling. He directed the youth film Just Bea, the Hollywood debut Mozart and the Whale, the Swedish children’s film Leaps and Bounds, in addition to Gone with the Woman. NORwEGIAN REGI/DIRECTOR: TOMMY wIRKOLA MED/CAST: Stig Frode henriksen, Kristoffer Joner, Cecilie Mosli, Jeppe beck Laursen, Jørn Tore Nilsen, bjørn Sundquist Tordenskiold Wagle is lost in the woods, and his father Kurt Josef is worried that he may have gotten into the fjord witch’s territory. No one wants to see their son lose his soul to Satan’s bride, so Kurt gathers the community’s best men in search of him: the entertainer Rock Fjellstad, sheriff Burt Erik Johansen, teacher and sceptic Gregor Hykkerud, medium Lillian Mulder, and cameraman Pablo. regISSØr/DIreCtOr Tommy Wirkola is the director and scriptwriter of Dead Snow. He studied media at Finnmark University College and Film Science at Lillehammer University College. He has a Bachelor in Film & Television from Bond University, Australia. His feature debut as director/scriptwriter was Kill Buljo – The Movie (2007). He has also made the short films Stealing Candy and Little Red Riding Hood from the Hood. Together with Stig Frode Henriksen he made Project Adonis and The Kill Buljo Show, in addition to the TV series The Saga of Kurt Josef Wagle. NOKaS NOKAS Norway, 2010, 95 min. NORwEGIAN REGI/DIRECTOR: ERIK SKJOLDbJæRG MED/CAST: Marit Synnøve berg, Francis Gamble, bente Grønnestad, Morten håland, Morten Larsen, Thomas Natland, Lars Morten Skaiaa, Tov Sletta In the morning of the 5th of April 2004, the greatest bank robbery in Norwegian history was carried out in Stavanger. The film traces the development of the robbery from early morning on until the fatal shot that took a police officer’s life. The story is credibly narrated through details in an everyday manner. regISSØr/DIreCtOr Erik Skjoldbjærg is a talented and respected Norwegian director and writer. His first feature film was Insomnia (1997), which he also co-wrote. The film was well received, and was remade by Christopher Nolan in 2002. In 2001 Skjoldbjærg went to Hollywood and directed the filmatization of the popular Elizabeth Wurtzel novel Prozac Nation. His previous feature is An Enemy of the People (2005), an adaptation of Ibsen’s famous play that he both directed and co-wrote. Skjoldbjærg has also directed several TV series. MaDe IN NOrWaY
