Procedure<br />
1. Point to graphemes, one at a time at r<strong>and</strong>om, <strong>and</strong> ask the children to tell you<br />
what they are.<br />
2. Gradually increase the speed of presentation.<br />
3. You could ask a child to ‘be teacher’ as this gives you the opportunity to watch<br />
<strong>and</strong> assess the children as they respond.<br />
