Stéphane Blanquet was born in 1973.
He is the author of many comic books
published by independant authors
such as “ L’association ”. His graphic
universe has seduced many French
newspapers and magazines such as
“ Libération ”, “ Télérama ” and “ Les
Inrockuptibles ”. Since June 1997 he
dedicated himself more and more to
animation theatre and is one of the
only French draughtsmen to work in
the same environment as comics US.

He has also achieved various exhibitions
in Switzerland, France and in Japan. He
received numerous prizes, the Rodolphe
Töpffer Prize, the Journal de Québec Prize,

of Angoulême in 2000 and 2002.
