Author : Tom Tirabosco<br />
Tom Tirabosco, Swiss illustrator born<br />
in Rome in 1966, is established in<br />
Geneva since 1971. He graduated<br />
from the School of Superior Visual<br />
Arts of Geneva. Award-winner of<br />
numerous competitions of comic<br />
strip, such as the Hebdo/Festival<br />
BD of Sierre in 1993. He regularly<br />
attends shows in Switzerland, signs<br />
several cultural and political posters,<br />
and works with the Swiss and French<br />
press.<br />

Chiara Carrer was born in Venice. She<br />

of <strong>de</strong>corative arts in Rome. She has<br />
published about a hundred books<br />
and has received many prizes. Besi<strong>de</strong>s<br />
her being an illustrator, she animates<br />
drawing workshops for children<br />
from 6 to 12 years old.<br />

Author : Haydé Ardalan<br />
Haydé Ardalan boasts a diploma from<br />
the <strong>La</strong>usanne School of Visual Arts,<br />
in Graphic Arts section. She was the<br />
assistant and collaborator of Werner<br />
Jeker, graphic <strong>de</strong>signer of international<br />
renown. Each week, she contributes<br />
to the magazine “ Hebdo ” illustrating<br />
a cooking recipe and the column<br />
“ Tentations ”.<br />

Guillaume Long, born in Geneva in<br />
1977, lives and works in Saint Etienne.<br />
He publishes drawings in the press.<br />

books for adults (Editions Alice, Vertige<br />
Graphic). In 2004 he was awar<strong>de</strong>d<br />
the Topffer Prize from the city of<br />
Geneva for his book : Les Sardines<br />
sont cuites, ed. Vertige Graphic.<br />

Author : Albertine<br />
Genevan artist, Albertine, has already<br />
published many books. She has taken<br />
part in many shows in Switzerland<br />
and elsewhere. She also is a press<br />
illustrator. She teaches screen print<br />
at the superior school of visual arts<br />
in Geneva. Albertine is the first Swiss<br />
artist to have obtained the prestigious<br />
“ POMME D’OR ” of Bratislava. Germano<br />
Zullo and Albertine have received<br />
in 2003, at the international animation<br />
festival of Annecy, the special<br />
prize of SACD and the prize “ Canal<br />
+ ” for a short animation of the album<br />
