Isabelle de Catalogne, born in 1965, spent
a few years in advertising, then tried her
hand as a political sketch writer for Karl
Zéro, before turning to animation. For the
last 12 years she has written children’s
series such as Zinzins de l’espace and La
Mouche adapted from Lewis Trondheim’s comic book, finally collaborating with
Juliette Sales on the animated feature film Piccolo, saxo et Cie, which came out
in 2006, adapted from André Popp and André Broussole’s characters.
Marion Pradier has always liked telling stories through her drawing. As an adolescent
she attended evening classes in modelling and life drawing, developing
her style at the School of Fine Art in Le Mans. Whilst a student at the Estienne
School she aquired various graphic skills. At a very young age she was influenced
by the world of comic books including authors such as Sfar, Baudouin,
Satrapi, de Crécy… She has illustrated Petit semainier mortifière published by
Fornax.
