Pre-Combustion Capture A system for CO 2 capture from a fossil fuel conversion where the fuel is decarbonised via gasification, pyrolysis, or reforming prior to combustion. The synthesis gas from de-carbonatisation is primarily a mixture of CO 2 and hydrogen. The CO 2 is captured from the hydrogen before the hydrogen is combusted. PSR Pipeline Safety Regulations.
