Group activities are organized by <strong>the</strong> Class Teachers as far as <strong>the</strong><br />

morning assemblies are concerned and activities that are commonly<br />

organized by <strong>the</strong> school. The o<strong>the</strong>r activities are organized by <strong>the</strong><br />

teachers as per <strong>the</strong> duties allotted to hem and subject areas that <strong>the</strong>y<br />

deal with.<br />

7. How far do <strong>the</strong>se programmes help individual talent to grow?<br />

Obviously and without doubt students grow from <strong>the</strong>se activities in s elf<br />

confidence, communication skills, co -operation skills as well as joy <strong>of</strong><br />

doing things toge<strong>the</strong>r.<br />

8. How and in what manner are <strong>the</strong>se activities evaluated?<br />

Activities in <strong>the</strong>se areas when conducted as a competition for students<br />

<strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> four sections evaluation is done through a panel. At o<strong>the</strong>r times<br />

<strong>the</strong> teacher who conduct <strong>the</strong>se activities shares her assessments <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong><br />

quality <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> activity openly with a student <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> class and promotes<br />

better participation and points for improvement.<br />

9. What record is kept <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> participation:<br />

Records are maintained by <strong>the</strong> Vice Principal and concerned teachers.<br />

<strong>the</strong> teachers?<br />

It does give a correct picture <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> achievements <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> teachers and <strong>the</strong><br />

students because it is through mutual efforts that anything substantial is<br />

achieved.<br />

11. Is any weightage given for achievement in this programme to <strong>the</strong> students for<br />

promotion to <strong>the</strong> next class? Only in senior class.<br />
