MIKE SILLINGER<br />

DIRECTOR OF PLAYER DEVELOPMENT<br />

Mike Sillinger begins his fourth season as the Oilers’ Director of Player<br />

Development after a lengthy career in the National Hockey League.<br />

Sillinger will work with Edmonton’s prospects in both the AHL and ECHL<br />

and with Oilers draft picks in the junior and college ranks.<br />

The 41-year-old well-traveled centre has played for 12 NHL clubs, most recently suiting up<br />

for the New York Islanders. Originally drafted 11th overall in 1990 by the Detroit Red Wings,<br />

Sillinger began his NHL career in Detroit before continuing on to play for the Mighty Ducks<br />

of Anaheim, Vancouver Canucks, Philadelphia Flyers, Tampa Bay Lightning, Florida Panthers,<br />

Ottawa Senators, Columbus Blue Jackets, Phoenix Coyotes, St. Louis Blues, Nashville Predators<br />

and New York Islanders.<br />

Sillinger played his junior with the Regina Pats and was named a WHL First All-Star Team<br />

selectee in 1991, his final junior year. After splitting time in Adirondack and Detroit, he carved<br />

out a solid career in the NHL eventually playing 1,049 games scoring 240 goals and 308 assists<br />

for 548 points.<br />

Internationally Sillinger represented Team Canada on two occasions, winning a gold medal at<br />

the 1991 World Junior Championship and leading his country as their captain at the 2000 World<br />

Championship.<br />

Sillinger was born and raised in Regina, Saskatchewan. He and his wife Karla have three sons<br />

– Owen, 15; Lukas, 12; and Cole, 9 .<br />

VIDEO COORDINATOR<br />

Myles is entering his fourth season with the Oilers as the club’s Video<br />

Coordinator. Fee, 31, comes from the New York Rangers Hockey Club, where<br />

he started in Team Services and moved his way up to Video Analyst working<br />

directly under the Video Coach and team management.<br />

The Dauphin, Manitoba native played three years for the Dauphin Kings and received a<br />

scholarship to Manhattanville College in Purchase, NY, where he played for four additional years<br />

and received his BA in Management and Political Science.<br />

Myles and his wife, Emily were married in Scarsdale, NY in 2010 and now reside in Edmonton.<br />
