COMMUNITY AND FAN DEVELOPMENT
Each and every season the Edmonton Oilers make a commitment to being a
strong community partner. Through this commitment, the organization, players
and staff, participate in a number of different events, charitable fundraisers and
community programs and initiatives. Below is a sampling of the Edmonton Oilers

PLAYERS OFF ICE
Oilers players are dedicated to their community and play an active role
with many community organizations including: Stollery Children’s Hospital
Foundation, Cross Cancer Institute, Inner City High School, Juvenile Diabetes
Research Foundation, Christmas Bureau of Edmonton and Area, and Kids with
Cancer Society. Players also visit local hospitals and participate in annual
community and school programs.
OILERS HOCKEY SCHOOL
The Edmonton Oilers have joined with the Okanagan Hockey Schools to deliver
the Edmonton Oilers Hockey School which provides students the opportunity to
experience high caliber training while developing necessary skills to take their
minor hockey game to the next level.
OILERS COACHES CLINIC
CENOVUS Energy is a proud to present the Edmonton Oilers Coaches Clinic, an
interactive day filled with instruction and knowledge from the coaching and
management staff of the Edmonton Oilers and features presentations from
Hockey Canada, Hockey Alberta and Oilers Alumni. This event is provided free of
charge to minor hockey coaches throughout Oil Country.
