1.5.1. POSITION OF THE SERIAL NUMBERS<br />
CAUTION Altering the vehicle identification numbers is a<br />
legal offence. Altering the frame number invalidates the<br />
warranty.<br />
FRAME NUMBER<br />
The frame number (A) is stamped on the frame central tube.<br />
To read it, it is necessary to remove the indicated cover (1).<br />
CAUTION The cover (1) can be fitted only in one position.<br />
The tabs (2) are on the sides.<br />
ENGINE NUMBER<br />
The engine number is stamped near the lower support of the<br />
rear shock absorber.<br />
DIGIT MEANING<br />
1. Manufacturer’s identification alphanumeric code.<br />
2. Vehicle type.<br />
3. Type of cycle, line, Engine type, and Engine Net Brake<br />
Horse Power.<br />
4. #= Check digit number.<br />
5. Model year.<br />
6. Plant location<br />
(N = NOALE-VE- ,<br />
S = SCORZÉ -VE).<br />
7. Sequential serial number.<br />
